After the Grand Palace Tour, we went to the Newsong Bangkok underground service at 5PM. The underground service meets every week at 10-12 different locations such as cafes, houses, etc. The "above ground" service meets once a month in a large facility thats able to accomodate everyone.

Outside the church, which meets in a small loft.

Pastor Abe giving the message with a Thai interpreter.

Kio taking in the message.

Worshiping God. We have video of the service, but can't post them on youtube.com because the Thai government banned the site due to someone posting a video which mocked the King.

Some of the people who attended the service. About 20% of the congregation are Thai and the rest are foreigners. About 100 people attended the service and the room was about 300-400 square feet. I was able to meet the guy in the orange shirt, Ryan, who is a refugee from China. His father was a pastor of an underground church and was facing persecution from the Chinese government. The U.N. intervened and relocated his family to Thailand. It was amazing to hear the testimonies of these people. It showed me once again how blessed I am.

People hanging out after service. Just an amazing experience.
